Little Quokka Room

At Little Penguin ELC, we design our space to support children’s exploration and curiosity. We plan for a range of experiences to support the children’s growing independence. Our program assists the senior toddlers in extending their experiences through meaningful experiences that help them build skills appropriate to their development.

Physical Development

Our educators at Little Penguin ELC plan for activities that encourage developing of gross motor skills, growth and development. We encourage the senior infants opportunities to walk, run, climb, dance and more in our safe yet enriching outdoor space.

As the children continue to make sense of the world, they might experience a range of emotions. Our educators plan programs that support the young ones in understanding and regulating their emotions

  • Art

At Little Penguin ELC, we encourage the senior toddlers in exploring different colours, patterns and textures. The children are able to express themselves creatively.

  • Promoting independence

We promote independence and a sense of autonomy where the senior infants are encouraged to take care of their belongings and complete simple tasks by themselves.
