As construction is nearing its end, our team met up and started setting up. We started searching for quality resources and furniture to help provide an enriching and fun for the children and families. We then set to work as we assembled and moved the furniture into the different spaces in the room. We certainly had fun filling up the rooms with different resources! It all started when I received a painting from my son during Mother’s Day last year. My son gifted me with a painting of a penguin from school. This came at the right time as I was thinking of a name of this centre which was being built. Upon researching, I learnt that penguins are known to be very caring and loving towards their young ones.
