At Little Penguin Kilsyth, we believe strong relationships are at the heart of quality early childhood education.
Our centre is a warm and welcoming community where children are supported to feel safe, secure and confident from the moment they arrive. Our educators take the time to genuinely get to know each child and family, helping children develop a strong sense of belonging and connection.

Our team works collaboratively to provide children with consistency, thoughtful care and meaningful learning opportunities throughout each stage of their early years.

Orientation & Settling In
Supporting a Gentle Start
We understand that beginning early childhood education can be a significant transition for both children and families.
Every child settles differently, so we work closely with families to create an orientation process that reflects the individual needs of their child.
Where appropriate, families may access up to two weeks of orientation visits before commencement, allowing children time to become familiar with the environment, educators, routines and other children at their own pace.
Our goal is to build trust gradually and help each child begin their journey feeling safe, supported and connected.
